Dear Rob,
While I have studied oysters extensively I have never herd of
stoneware oyster jars. Cans yes, plates yes, jars no. What do they
look like?

Subject: American stoneware oyster jars

Hi

I am soliciting any information about the manufacture and/or recovery of

early 19th c. American stoneware oyster jars. Any help would be
appreciated and
replies can be made off-list.

Thanks for any help!
