GRADUATE STUDY IN HISTORICAL ARCHAEOLOGY AT PENN

As I sent out a notice last year that we were closed at Penn for new 
PhD applicants for September 2007, I am following with confirmation 
that we are again fully open for PhD and other applicants who want to 
focus on Historical Archaeology (under the Graduate Group in 
Anthropology) for September 2008.

We closed last year because we had such a successful acceptance rate 
for Fall 2006 (almost broke the Dean's budget) including students in 
our specialization. This Fall (September 2007) we had a number of 
Master's students (MA & MS) enter including some interested in 
Historical Archaeology but no new PhD students.

We are now fully open for PhD applicants for next Fall (September 2008).
