                HISTORIAN/ARCHITECTURAL HISTORIAN
 
The Cultural Resource Group of Louis Berger & Associates, Inc. is seeking a mid-
level
Historian/Architectural Historian to fill an immediate position opening in our M
idwest Regional
Office.  This is a full-time, salaried position, not a temporary appointment. Pr
imary
responsibilities
will include: conducting historical research in support of archaeological invest
igations; conducting
research and field investigations for survey and evaluation of historical archit
ectural resources;
and
report preparation. Qualified applicants must have strong research and writing s
kills plus
demonstrated experience in completing historical research and survey and Nationa
l Register
evaluation of buildings and structures in a cultural resources management contex
t.  Applicants
must
have a graduate degree in American History, architectural history or closely rel
ated field and
exposure to the history and architecture of the Midwest/Central Plains regions.
 
Competitive salaries are negotiated based on qualifications.  Employment benefit

etc.  The successful applicant must be able to relocate to the Marion/Cedar Rapi
ds metropolitan
