Hello all,

Does anyone know anything about a pipe stem that is labeled

"BURNS CUT..." on one side and
"...E & Co EDIN." on the other?

I believe it comes from Edinburgh but it is broken where the "..." are written above. I found it in one of 2 contexts in Adelaide, Australia on a construction site. It is either from an laborer occupant of (1845-1865)-1936 brick row houses or from a 1937-1953 Ford dealership.

My ID resources are packed as I have recently moved to Australia & was hoping someone has them at their fingertips & can help me out. Feel free to reply off list.

Cheers!
