CALL FOR PAPERS
1997 MEETING OF THE COUNCIL FOR NORTHEAST HISTORICAL ARCHAEOLOGY
 
Papers are now requested for the 1997 meeting of the Council for Northeast
Historical Archaeology, October 17-19, in Altoona, PA.  The dual themes of
the meeting are industrial archaeology and the role of archaeologists in
heritage tourism.  Authors are encouraged to submit abstracts for 20-minute
papers on these topics.  Papers on any topic related to historical
archaeology in the northeastern United States and the eastern provinces of
Canada are also requested.  Send abstracts (150 words or less) by May 15,
1997 to
