Fran Kemmish spoke of the one-holer perched over the tailrace of a
mill. Hmmm. I live in a rather nice (in my opinon)
turn-of-the-century neighborhood in Richmond. When I flush, the
effluent goes to a sewer in the street, then heads straight downhill
to the James River three blocks away, where it empties. I think of
that everytime I go out on the river to fish for smallmouths or play
in the rapids on a hot day.
