Take a look at "Digging Up Slaves,"  a BBC production from about 1989 with
sections on South Carolina with Leland Ferguson and Virginia with Bill Kelso
among others, and a recent one, "The African Burial Ground: An American
Discovery."  The latter is available through Kutz Television in NY, 718
499-1987, and includes a section on the complicated community/political
issues raised by the excavation.
