I am a graduate student in historical archaeology at Louisiana State
University, Baton Rouge. My thesis deals with ethnicity and patent
medicine choices. Does anyone know of a good reference source for
information containing ingredients and alcohol contents for patent
medicines? Ed Fike's The Bottle Book has been of help as have been
Devner's Patent Medicine Picture, Carson's One for a Man Two for a
Horse, and a few of James Harvey Young's books. Any references would
be appreciated.

Thank you,
Elizabeth Davoli
