Stephanie -

In England this period is known as the post-medieval period, and there is
a lively Society for Post-Medieval Archaeology.

They have a web page on the CBA web site, and there is also occasional
lively discussion on Britarch.

Links to all these can be found on my web pages - under other pages.

Best wishes,

Andrew Selkirk (Current Archaeology) ([log in to unmask])
