Dear All,

I've been following the camel discussion and thought you might be
interested in a news item today.
It seems we have more than a million camels, all descendants of animals
imported in the 19th century, and this surfeit is causing serious
greenhouse gas issues, not to mention the effects on the natural
environment in central Australia.
