ADMINISTRATOR/CURATOR WANTED
 
The Turks & Caicos National Museum (Turks & Caicos Islands, B.
 
W. I.) is seeking an administrator/curator to manage an
historic house museum on the waterfront with maritime
archaeological and natural historical collections.  Duties
include budget planning and oversight; supervision of two
staff; collections management; exhibit maintenance; fund
raising and development of membership, volunteer and
educational programs.  The administrator/curator reports to
the Chair, Board of Trustees.  Qualifications: strong
organizational skills, two years of curatorial experience,
M.A. in History, Museum Studies, Anthropology, Archaeology or
related field, ability to work well with local islanders and
government.  Preference will be given to candidates with
hands-on experience.  Salary depends on qualifications.
