Over a year ago I posted a message to this list about a project I was
doing for the Council for British Archaeology, funded by the British
Library. It was to study ways in which the back files and future issues
of the British Archaeological Bibliography might be made available in
electronic forms, such as CD-ROM or on the Internet. I had some useful
contributions from list members, some of whom asked to be told the
outcome. The results may also be useful to publishers of other small
bibliographic services.
 
The report was published as:
 
Electronic distribution of small specialist bibliographies: the case of
the British Archeological Bibliography. [London] : British Library
Research and Development Department, 1995. (British Library R&D Report
6201) 65p.
 
It is now also available on the Internet, in various forms suitable for
reading online or downloading, and can be accessed on the British
Academy's web site:
