        Subject: Query about St Damasus

Does anyone know how we can find out whether St Damasus (patron
saint of
archaeology) is still a legit saint or not? Is there a list of
officially
approved Saints somewhere (we thought of trying the Vatican but
couldn't
think of the URL obviously www.vatican would be a start but is it
.gov or
        .com?).

        Any help would be appreciated.
