Ok...I'm asking. Does anyone know what company would have marked
nonferrous snap buttons (or button snaps ?) with "CFC" ...with the
first C being backwards??

I assume the 2nd C stands for "Co"....?? (the front of the snap has a
royal arms logo)

I'm not currently working on the collection that these came from (dating
from 1900-1910ish), but just happened to notice one was also found at a
homestead site here in San Diego Co....occupied from 1893 to 1915 or so.

So...was hoping someone out there...may Know...???

Apparently there was a company that made corset busks that went by the
initials "F C Co."...but don't know if these would be the same as the
snap mark. ??

Does anyone have a data base for garment fastener company marks?

I have seen one for corsets, online, but it is only partially filled in
(as to date, etc.).

http://laracorsets.com/Corset_Manufacturers_Research.htm

Any help would be Appreciated. Don't have a photo...since the snaps are
badly corroded.

Carol
