Don Satz asks:

>Is Scott familiar with Jarrett's WTC 1? I'd be interested in his opinion.

No. I didn't spring for Jarrett's WTC 1. I'm quite satisfied with my
other piano WTC 1 CDs - Gould, Schiff.

As I said, I'm very fond of his non-classic recordings. I'm particularly
fond of the 2CD 'Spirits' in which he plays a number of other instruments,
overdubbed, in addition to the piano. And he has a way with jazz
standards. The Koeln improvisations are nonpareil.
