Kai, With a name like yours there's really only one possibility.  Kristian
Zimerman on DG.  He personally picked a group of Polish instrumentalists,
rehearsed exhaustively, toured with them, and THEN recorded it.  That care
shows.

I also adore the two concerti recorded by the then 12-year-old Yevgeny
Kissin.  Amazing!!  And not just because he's so young.  It's mature
music-making.
