I have had some astonishing stuff from Windows (and nowadays, at home,
iTunes), but the other day the cake was taken. Running my turntable
into my Harman Kardon CD burner, I dubbed a Verve LP onto a blank disc:
I've had the record for 50 years (I bought it in the record shop in
Kenosha where I worked when I was in high school), and it's never even
been reissued as far as I know. But when I subsequently slipped the CD
into my Mac to dump the tracks into iTunes, it correctly identified the
artist and the the names of all 12 tunes. How the hell did it do that?

Has that group recorded "The Seasons" more than once? Otherwise perhaps
just a data entry mistake. The computers at Borders and Barnes & Noble
are full of howlers, especially in classical music.
