Scott Morrison wrote concerning Jarrett's Shostakovich and Goldberg
Variations:

>Much to my disappointment both of those recordings are plain vanilla.

My different opinion might be due to my love of vanila ice cream. I
believe I understand Scott's view. Jarrett can sound like plain vanilla,
but there's a flow to his music making which reminds me of a rich vanilla.
Is there a Bach pianist who sounds like "mocha"?

Is Scott familiar with Jarrett's WTC 1? I'd be interested in his opinion.
