   Dear Deutsche Grammophon friends,

20/21 is Deutsche Grammophon's initiative for music of our time. And
now we are proud to unveil http://20-21.dgclassics.com/.

In the same way that the CD product line 20/21 reflects the pulse of the
modern classical music scene, this new website embodies the evolution of
these important recordings and the composers and musicians who create
   them.

You too can become part of this exhilarating scene. At the new website
you will find details about the first five 20/21 releases as well as a
preview of upcoming titles -- exciting recordings like the 1998 Salzburg
Festival production of Messiaen's Saint Francois d'Assise, and works by
Arvo P"rt, Elliott Carter, Philip Glass and Ned Rorem.

Join us now and keep an eye on the ever-changing news as the 20th
century draws to a close and the 21st opens. Be there as this new
website grows and, in the near future, offers you interactive functions
to transport YOU into the world of "music of our time".

   With best wishes,
   Your 20/21 webmaster
