I would like to invite all of you to upcoming Orchestra concerts at
Cornell University.

October 2, Sunday 3 pm in Barnes Hall [Free and open to the public]
Program Aaron Copland Quiet City featuring Olivier Anthony Theurillat,
trumpet and Julia Capurso, oboe Edward Elgar Serenade for Strings in
e minor op. 20 conducted by Mr. Theurillat intermission Franz Joseph
Haydn Trumpet concerto with Mr. Theurillat Aulis Sallinen Some Aspects
of Peltoniemi Hintrik's Funeral March [originally his third string quartet
transcribed for String Orchestra by the composer] Reception to follow
the concert.

October 16, Sunday, 3 pm in Ford Hall at Ithaca College [Free and open
to the public] Program David Schober's Split Horizon conducted by Sean
Shepherd, and featuring the following members of the Cornell Symphony
as soloists [Rebecca Morrow, flute, Jennie Lavine, Clarinet, Stephanie
Chu, violin, Grace Juan Lee, cello, Daniel Jones, piano and Peanut Wong,
percussion] [The composer will also be present for the concert]
Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade featuring Alvin Lee as concert master
