Brian Burtt asked about the Haydn String Quartet box on Naxos:

Not enough to pay anywhere near $120 for them.  They're fine performances,
but hardly top of the line.  I think of them as good acquisitions for those
who are unfamiliar with Haydn string quartets.  Get one or two of the cd's,
decide if the repertoire is rewarding, then acquire better recordings.
Further, better recordings are available at bargain price from Virgin
(Endellion Quartet).
