I would recommend the Naxos recording of Vaughn Williams' Job - A Masque
for Dancing, English Northern Philharmonia, David Lloyd-Jones.  This is an
excellent recording, I don't know if it is a gem because I have not heard
any other recordings of this work from "major" labels to make a comparison,
however I am more than satisfied with the Naxos.  [log in to unmask]
