Well, I am brand new to this list, picking it up today as a first
look...and I tend to agree with those who do not seem to be perturbed by
a little sexy flamboyance in the classics.  Perhaps it has been stated
earlier in this thread but developing young audiences for the classics is
essential for obvious reasons.  If a little sizzle inspires younger ones to
listen to the classics, fantastic.  Might even attract some old ones, too.
The music's the thing.  If it is only packaged stuffily, t'will be mostly
the stuffy who partake.
