A group of people and I are planning to present to an admired musician
a gift of Bach's motets.  I'm interested in the edition that represents
the newest scholarly thinking.  Can someone tell me the merits of the
new Stuttgarter-Ausgabe, as opposed to the Baerenreiter Bach-Gesellschaft
edition?
