Concerning complete sets, Ashkenazy/Previn/Decca and Wild/Horenstein/Chandos
are likely the best ones on the market. However, neither is exactly
modern-day with Ashkenazy's recordings from the 1970's and Wild's from
the 60's.

There are also some great performances of individual concertos - Richter/DG
for the 2nd, Horowitz/Ormandy and Kocsis/Philips for the 3rd, and
Michelangeli/EMI for the 4th. The Michelangeli also has his famous Ravel
G major Concerto performance.
