It's a pleasure to encounter someone who knows the music of Eduard Tubin.
I share Ms Labroche's enthusiasm for his 2nd. My personal favorites beyond
the 2nd are the melodic and brooding 4th, the 9th, and the single movement
10th

Also a real find is his Balalaika Concerto. Listen to the deeply
disturbing uneven-metered final movement to see how Tubin could write such
deep feelings into what could easily have become just a minor concerto.

Tubin never slept here.
