Rozhdestvensky's set, also on Chandos, I find very interesting (and
others find very aggravating) because it is interpretively very
different--perhaps Nielsen seen through the lens of Mahler.  I wouldn't
call it firey, though...

You've made me curious about Thomson's set.  I love his Vaughan Williams
recordings, which the critics hate...
