I am embarrased I didn't get the Shosty, I even know the piece.  Du-uuuhh.
(Sigh.)

I know little of Ligeti but I am not surprised; what I heard is pretty
consistent with my [limited] understanding of him (do you really say it
"LI-gett-y"?, almost like "lickety"? This is what I'm told...).  Anyway,
I thought it was really effective and I'll certainly check out the rest
of Ricercata.

Anybody know anything about Ms. Pook? I've never heard of her...she's not
in Schwann, or anything.  I'd be curious to learn what else she's done.
