Yes!  I purchased this model for $130 at Best Buy on sale.

By way of comparison, I purchased my first CD player in June 1983.
I literally was the first kid in town that had one.  It cost 1000.00,
had no shuffle features.  Actually NO features other than play, forwards,
and backwards.  I had to order cds at 25.00 dollars a crack, from
Washington, D.C.  (Serenade Record Shop in fact).

So by way of comparison, SACD is a lot further down the road in acceptance,
I think.
