I'm not a fan of this movement either. I'm not sure why. Maybe playing
and sitting there waiting to come in on a high C# had something to do
with it, but probably not. It just seems overblown, compared to the rest
of the symphony.  Or maybe I'm just tired of it. Still, the last time I
played it, I grew sick of it, and that's unusual with music I like.
