Bob Draper wrote of William Christie:

When I got back into classical music in the 1980's, Christie was recording
for Harmonia Mundi. In recent years he has been recording for Erato. I
just don't recall any DHM recordings of his. Bob, are you sure that's the
right label?

Bob agreed that Christie's performances are rather low on the excitement
scale. Last night, I found my copy of Pinnock on Archiv performing
Mozart's arrangement of Acis & Galatea. I wanted to make sure that my
feeling that Pinnock presents the more exciting performance was still
valid. It is.
