   WHAT'S COMING on S&H?

   pianoworks is a new international piano festival, launched with great
   success last year at Blackheath Halls in association with Hyperion
   Records and Steinway Pianos.  pianoworks'99 (20 - 24 October) explores
   the influence of music from the past on later composers and, at
   Chopin's 150th anniversary, looks at piano music inspired by the
   Polish master.  S&H will cover the numerous events in four hectic
   days of music making, including solo recitals by famous international
   pianists, chamber music with piano, master classes, orchestral concerts
   with unusual piano concertos, and Brian Kay's Sunday Morning broadcast
   live on Radio 3 from pianoworks'99 on Sunday 25th October.  Details

   bmic at the warehouse is a new initiative for the British Music
   Information Centre.  A wide ranging series of concerts is being
   mounted on every Thursday evening until 16th December, at an exciting
   new venue in Theed Street, near Waterloo Station.  Full details from
