Overall I liked the movie as well.  A bit strange in places but that's Ken
Russell's vivid visual imagination at work.  I think it helps if you have
seen some of his other films as well.  At least we were spared a nude male
wrestling scene as in Women in Love or a bunch of naked nuns as in The
Devils of Loudin!
