Patrik Enander <[log in to unmask]> writes with an undertone that
suggests the impossibility of Naxos doing anything good. Well, some
preconceived notions are never changed, but this consumer has been quite
delighted with a great deal of Naxos' releases, including, but not limited
to:

   Brahms, Complete Piano Works
   Bruckner, Symphonies
   Dvorak, Complete Symphonies
Dvorak, Other Symphonic and Chamber Works
   Elgar, Symphonies 1 & 2
   Gorecki, Symphony 3
   Grieg, Piano Music
   Haydn, String Quartets
   Haydn, Piano Sonatas
   Haydn, Symphonies
   Liszt, Piano Music
   Mozart, Later Symphonies
   Prokofiev, Symphonies
   Schubert, Quartets and Quintets
   Schubert, Complete Symphonies
   Schubert, Lieder
   Schumann, Symphonic Etudes
   Sibelius, Symphonies (New Series)
   Sibelius, Kullervo
   Tchaikovsky, Piano Concertos 1, 2, 3
   Tchaikovsky, Symphonies
   Telemann, almost anything
   Walton, Symphonies 1 & 2
   Weber, Piano Concertos
   Weber, Symphonies 1 & 2

In each of the above entries, note that a reviewer from Fanfare or
American Record Guide or Penguin gave praise, too.
