Thank you for the review.  Saw the book in a bookstore, and agreed with Mr.
Tobin's assessment.

Gann has no excuse for slighting Chris Rouse.  If Gann did a book on the
19th century, he'd probably fill it full of Liszt, Wagner, Scriabin and
Berlioz--and have one sentence mentioning Brahms.

Totalism is one thing; ignorism another!
