I think that, most probably, Mitropoulos conducted in 1950 the premier
of Session's 2nd Symphony which he recorded also for Columbia and exists
also on CD (label: CRI) coupled with the 1st and 3rd ones.  It worths
mentioning that he conducted fifty (50) World Premiere Performances of
Works by American Composers (as statedin NYPO's American CD- Set)!
