I like the Raskin/Lehane for the soloists but find them a little over
the top and generally find the performance a little slow. On the other
hand the Labadie singers are good but I find this recording just the
opposite - a little brisk. Am I too hard to please?  Possibly, but I
feel there might be a middle of the road possibly HiP performance that
still luxuriates in the phrasing and has a slightly slower tempo than
Labadie.
