I hope someone can help with this question.  I just bought a cd of a
performance of the Beethoven Violin Concerto with Jascha Heifetz and the
New York Philharmonic conducted by Dimitri Mitropoulos.  It is a live
performance.  The label is Maestros de la Musica.  It does not give any
performance data.  Does anyone know when this performance took place? I
assume it was performed in Carneige Hall sometime in the 1950's.
