Another Ottawan heard from. My are we on a roll this evening! But tell me,
Alex, how long do you think that Radio II (and la Chaine culturelle) will
continue providing us with classical music with so many politicians and
voters sighing over our high taxes? Frankly, I'd vote for the first guy who
promised to roll back the recent cuts to taxes and arts funding (not to
mention education, health care and a few similar frills.) You get what you
pay for, and if you don't want to pay for quality broadcasting through your
taxes, set your dial to CHEZ 100 or the BEAR or . . .
