Strange that this topic came up this week. I had just found the Vox Box
of Kentner playing the Trancendentals, the Paganinis, 5 Concert Etudes and
the Spanish and Rumanian Rhapsodies on vinyl. The 3-disk List set was in
mint condition and I got it for $2.00 at Goodwill. I have listened to
most of it, and found it well played, but not really exciting. I will
keep listening and see if I like even more. Since I have several other
recordings of the Trancendentals, I need a little time to get more familiar
with Kentner's version.

Following this thread, I have the Liapunov Etudes on 2 Turnabout disks. I
have only listened to them maybe once. I guess I need to get these out and
give them another try.
