Tony Duggan has written a great piece about Jasha Horenstein Ostensibly
it's a revierw of the release of the BBC Legends CD, but it's far more
....it is a powerfully moving tribute to Horenstein, the man and conductor.

"......Horenstein was never an easy conductor to get to know.
His was music making that was always challenging of the audience
and the reaper of rewards only for those with more than half an
ear to hear rather than just listen"
