Absolutely not.  He was deeply anti-fascist, so much so that he snubbed
Furtwaengler (wrongfully, in my opinion) after the war.  He was also
instrumental in helping to get one of Wagner's grandchildren out of the
Third Reich either slightly before or during the war.
