I don't believe there is a best...

However, some of my favorites:

Horowitz w. Szell
Horowitz w. Barbirolli
Cliburn w.Kondrashin (US recording)
Rubinstein w. Barbirolli
Berman (original version)

many others worth a listen
Petri; Nikolaieva; Richter w. Mravinsky; Horowitz w. Walter; Richter
w. Ancerl etc.
