Dittersdorf Bicentenary

My latest radio magazine mentions the fact that it will be 200 years
since the death of the splendidly-named Carl Ditters von Dittersdorf on
24 October.  If you don't know his music, there's quite a lot of it out
there.  I'd suggest trying the Six Symphonies after Ovid.  If you do know
his music, a little of it complemented by a glass of your stimulant of
choice are called for on the 24th!
