My exposure was accidental....As a teenager in the mid 70s I happened to
fall across The Six Wifes of Henry VIII.  Loved the series and the music.
Then a while later I was rolling the radio tuner dial around and came
across music that was very similiar to what I had heard on the tv series.
Loved it.  Started listening to it.  Found out pretty early on what I liked
and disliked.

I had a paper route and bought albums at the local Korvettes...typically
the budget line stuff like NONESUCH and TURNABOUT.

Was not through any school programs (I went to private Catholic school).
