Two points: If our tastes are really so different, then you must not
care much for Ginette Neveu's performance with Charles Munch, because
this by far is my favorite recording. (I also admire Oistrak's recording
in 1950 with Alexander Gauk).  Secondly, when you say that she plays the
concerto like she does the sonatas, I understand you to say that she's
more restrained, controlled, perhaps more "classical" in temperament,
and avoids giving in to what I would consider over-passionate tendencies
that have dominated many of her romantic interpretations. Please correct
me if I'm wrong.
