Philips Competition for Vinyl junkies

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Philips Classics label 50 titles
are to be reissued enhanced by using 96kHz 24-bit technology.  MusicWeb
present a competition to celebrate the anniversary by offering 5 prizes of
a limited edition Vinyl LP featuring Highlights from these releases.

QUESTIONS:

   When was the Classical CD first put on general sale in the UK? There
   were 23 Philips Classical releases in the first batch - Give details
   of any two of them.

Winners will be decided as soon as 100 entries have been received
