following might prove amusing:

   of Shostakovich's The Nose at the Berlin Staatsoper in which the
   nose is represented as a phallus, an important character is
   portrayed as a transvestite and half the chorus members are
   dressed as Islamic terrorists led by a high-heeled Osama Bin
   Laden, the Chicago Tribune reports."
