You can get all the Beethoven sonatas (11cds) for under $30US by purchasing
the Bernard Roberts Nimbus set.

This is a lot better than most people would have you believe.

There is also an amazing two CD (Pilz I think) set of Barenboin playing
the bagatelles etc.  I got this for $1.6
