In this week's New Yorker, octogenarian pianist Earl Wild opines that
Lang Lang is 'the J.  Lo of the piano.'

Bitchy? Yes.

But it speaks pithily to the issue of Lang Lang and the publicity machine
creating a superstar before proving himself an artist.
